The Ten Paramis:
A Map to Enlightenment

The Ten Paramis is a classical Theravada Buddhist teaching. The Pali word "parami" translates roughly as "perfection". Each parami is an aspect of character that can be developed by practice and at the same time is something that supports the growth of deeper practice. The ten together describe a sequential path to enlightenment.

Starting in March, every other Thursday from 7:30 to 9:15pm, two of the Paramis will be presented within the context of a Sangha, a gathering of practitioners. We will start with brief meditation instructions, a 1/2 hour sit, a dharma talk, and time for questions and discussion. Everyone is welcome.

The dates and topics are as follows:
March 6 - Generosity and Virtue.
March 20 - Renunciation and Wisdom
April 3 - Energy and Patience
April 17 - Truthfulness and Resolve
May 1 - Loving Kindness and Equanimity

At Asana Studio in Arvada, CO. There will be a Dana Bowl.
